Full process of how to make a bulletproof Aussie eBay stealth account
 

I'm trying to make an eBay seller stealth account after my secondary eBay seller account was suspended while being overseas (wasn't paying attention too closely on sales coming through, items were out of stock and had to cancel like 7 orders, hence suspended).

Luckily my main account is somehow still allowed to sell, but I want to make stealth accounts because I think eBays suspensions are a bit harsh honestly (given my reason above).

Can someone tell me if this is the right approach or if I'm missing anything?

1. Need a new IP (which I should get by just using my iPhone's hotspot NOT a VPN, because these addresses are like blacklisted).
2. PO box for any returns
3. Do I need a whole new device to be selling (does eBay look at device IDs?), or can I just do:
- new browser
4. Logging on initially, I understand that I have to do some ID verification, so simply just putting in my passport / driver's liscense wouldn't work. So I would have to use family members or friends etc.
5. New bank details etc under that person's name instead of mine (since my name would be banned).

So I also have another question. If this is the case, wouldn't eBay send this info to the ATO and technically that person would have to pay tax (so if registered as a sole trader, then it would be added to their taxable income)?

OR, are there even somehow options to get accounts in places like Dubai or something so I don't have to deal with any of these tax implications (apart from paying GST past 75k?)


ANY HELP WOULD BE MASSIVELY MASSIVELY APPRECIATED, considering a lot of the threads here seem to be >10 years old.

1. Good idea - hotspot does work.
2. I use po boxes (though no AUS accounts on my end...yet)
3. On the computer, a new user account works well - I don't personally create accounts on cellphones. With the whole issue of eb and verification lately, there is a high chance you will be hit with ID verification regardless it would seems...
4. Using family members' or friends' info could work but make sure they don't have accounts already under their ID...
5. Good idea

I can't speak of tax implications in Australia unfortunately.

In regards to no. 4 about the identity. How do you guys do this and create stealth accounts in the US/UK etc? Because you can't just put in your own identity because it would be linked right?

So logically the only option you have left basically is close friends and family? Unless I'm missing something? You have to put in identity at the very start when making an account

Hi, I'm just wondering, if you didn't use family or friends ID, how do you create a new eBay stealth account as that is one of the preliminary questions that are asked when you first make an account

nobody will tell you this direct on a public forum but you have to draw your own conclusions here.

As you said there is only about 3 options, you do what you have to do in a way that will get the result for you.
