Ebay want phone verification on cc now?
 

So i did a couple of new stealths, went to list like i usually do with cc (woolworths prepaid master card) wich is normally fine however they now want phone verification even with the credit card. Usually it was only if you wnted to pay fees via bank. Havent tried paying fees with paypal way as i didnt want them linked.

Not yet, plus I didn't know Woolworth's was still around.

Ive had it the other day when creating a stealth account. Went to list first item as usual and pay fees by cc and they wanted phone verification. No way around it.

also do it with Paypal that has been verified with CC only, not tried with bank account verified Paypal

I tried with bank verified (I veri with bank first) and cc verified PP and still requires phone verification I think no way around it.

So probably need to buy landline service now

Same problem for me... any way around this? How can we get many phone numbers?

Do they ask for a landline number?

Because if they do, that's just ridiculous as a lot of people no longer have them anymore.

Ok i signed up for Skype. Now when ebay calls the number it says to press 1 and i dont have that option on skype? please some one help

do you guys use skype forwarding? or did you just sign up for the landline number and use skype on your iphone for example

Use a version of Skype around 3.something search Skype old version in Google the latest version don't have the option to use the keypad.

Skype is wend by ebay and they share information. Bad idea.

Skype is owned by ebay and they share information. Don't use Skype for anything related to ebay.

Skype hasn't been owned by eB since 2009, it's now owned by Microsoft.
