What am I doing wrong?
 

Followed the guide and have had no issues for a while until my old USB modem linked 2-3 accounts so I purchased a new one, created new accounts and started all over again, now I'm getting instant account closures for:

1. Copyright infringement (it was literally an unwanted gift, ONCE)

2. Couldn't verify my identity (I don't have a home phone, I guess its because I tried to verify with a mobile)

3. Student ID card wasn't enough, explained I didn't have a drivers license or passport.

4. Unauthorized item (set of old DVD's)

Even with 40-50 transactions and 100% feedback they just suspend me no questions asked. I don't sell high volume either which is really weird, are they just cracking down?

Ouch! That hurts.

OK, being blunt those 4 reasons are pretty typical of how ebay au is behaving.

That set of DVDs would have killed most accounts. There's been an horrendous shut down with the selling of DVDS.
Do a google of AFACT.
They have been actively pulling listings AND hounding sellers.:mad2:

DVDs are a source of trouble

Other reasons tend to be less usual. Frankly just them being bar stewards.

Think its worth calling them over? Things were going so well for the past couple of months then all of a sudden bam, the end of last month its like they tracked/traced and shut 99% down.

Its like they aren't even warning people anymore.

How old were these accounts?

Did you remember to use different pics and descriptions?

Did you check your IP address?

Yeah I use wireless internet and it renews when I connect. Accounts were fairly new, different pictures & descriptions yup.

Perhaps you should try aging your accounts before selling DVDs. Just sell other items before selling a DVD, give it something like 6 months.

I would agree with notion of patience and aging.

It seems that DVD's are becoming more difficult to sell on Ebay overall. Maybe their trying to cut the little people from selling at all. It can become a huge problem for some people.
