MC142 - Odd
 

One of my new stealths got suspended. Saying my violation was MC142.

This is the odd thing. I am using ebay.com.au. My listings was for AU only and my paypal was Au. IP was AU.

Basically the email told me I had to fax in documents. I thought it was odd as there is no option for me to upload documents via email.

Called ebay and Ebay AU told me that Ebay US was the one who suspended my account and the reason why i can't email in the documents is because I need to deal with ebay US. that is why i have to fax it into Ebay US directly.

I told them that i preferred to deal with ebay AU they told me that AU side can't do nothing about my situation and they can't even verify my documents as they were not the ones who suspended me. It was ebay US that did ebay US are the ones who can unsuspend me.

I find this extremely Odd. I have never had any of my stealth account based in AU tell me that My problem is with Ebay US.

Is this normal? I used AU IP, AU ebay, AU paypal. Au phone number, Listings in AU and the card i used to pay ebay is AU based (woolworths pre-paid mastercard)

Not much of a loss as it's a new stealth account under 30 days. I have since moved on to another account. Just found this situation odd.

How quickly did you list OP? Under 30 days - if a risky item, could have been the cause.

Thanks for the link. I am not really trying to save the account. I just found it odd that ebay AU refuses to deal with me and tells me i need to deal with ebay US. considering everything about my account is AU based.

I found it odd and wondering if anyone else has had ebay AU refuse to deal with you and send you to Ebay US??

Not ebay AU to ebay USA.

Had ebay UK to ebay USA.

What made it annoying was ebay AU could not even understand why

I prefer to try to save accounts myself.

Maybe think along the same lines too.

Could be a bug. Your account may have gotten flagged by an experiment running out of ebay us.

Ebay au is probably a small sub compared to ebay us headquarter. They wont bother to make too much noise for one account.
