Paypal limited for paying people on ebay????
 

:mad2: So today my friend paid for some items for me through her paypal account, and tonight her account is limited and the payments are all on hold and being reviewed!!!

The reason why is stated as the name and reg info does not match that of her bank... she hasnt added a bank account!!! Only a pre paid credit card! :mad2:

Paypal have gone mad, im so over their crap!!

Absolute linking as far as PP are concerned. Goods bought with one account and paid for with another - perfectly innocent but to their minds mega mega suspicious.

If they are both genuine and not stealth accounts I suggest you get on the phone to them. That's the only way she can rescue her account and possible yours

@GrannyT The OP hasn't suggested they are sending money between accounts.

Seems that the OP's friends accounts been limited for literally just buying things!

Sorry - I read it that Boondocksaint bought some items with their own Ebay account and then the friend paid for them on a totally seperate account - have I read it wrong? If so just ignore my ramblings

It is quite possible that she tried to use funds to buy when the funds were not free and clear of other transactions.

All funds were clear in her account, but yes i have my own ebay account, wich i use for buying only. She had recently sold her my saddle for me through her ebay account, and the buyer paid into her paypal, the funds were clear in the paypal account when we paid for things on my ebay account.

Is it because both are in two different names that theyve gone, suspicious?

She has recently verified her id, if that makes any difference.

I will get her to ring paypal today and ask, as the sellers have received the money :)
