Steatlh account to open dispute against seller?

Just bought something on ebay and it is described as new never used.
but when it arrived it is obviously used scuffs on screen. seller denied.
is it safe to open paypal dispute against seller considering it is stealth paypal?
transaction amount is $45, thank you

Do like any buyer would - you will probably need to return it with tracking.

Your account could get looked at so if there is obviously stealth info, who knows. Otherwise your fine.

Dont ever buy anything with a selling account. Hopefully you used a seperate stealth buying account.

Take pictures of the item with the scuff marks on them, and if the seller will not refund, open a dispute, and send all the info to paypal.

unfortunately this is a seller account too, with 20+ feedback around 100 days old.

catch-22: yes, as a buyer you can make a dispute.

as a stealther, then you are exposing the account to unnecessary checking.

Suggestions: any and all of the following or none ;)

get the sellers' details and call them. Try to work out a deal in your favour.
Double check their sellling history & see if they have form ;) (fb that suggests the've done this B4., neutrals negatives)

Ask yourself why are you doing a paypal dispute :juggle:

Ask yourself is there ANY item, apart from ones we buy for feedback that is worthwhile exposing 'stealth' accounts to scrutiny.

If it comes to no co-operation from the seller, PM me 1st ;)

did you ask them to send it to another address that was not the registered one?

No it is an address with paypal. amount is not a big deal anyway so I will just resell and get maybe $15 loss rather than have paypal looking into my account? is that a good thing to do?
