Question about matching names for withdrawal & paypal
 

Hi,

Has anyone tried this,will that work if the full name of AU paypal account does not match the name in your bank account?Will the money withdraw successful?

Yes, it will be OK with most of the AU banks.

I guess you have seen that stupid message on paypal.com.au where it says the name must match? It's just their trick. :pop2:

I often do transfers in different names and my bank accepts them.

I hope this works...lol I just got my stealth accounts and I was wondering about that message on PayPal saying the names much must match. Hopefully NAB works with different names.

Hrm, I have not been limited yet, my sales are just over 1.7k so far, maybe because I was slow in selling?

So far so good anyway.

it seems that they just add the name to a message to the recipient of the money, that is something most banks, not only in au, don't care about at all.
I guess the easiest way to find it out is to think if you can send money to your account with no names at all, say from a postoffice, if yes, the names aren't important.
