Limits on paypal
 

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum and I love it! :clap: Now I have to deal with a challenge. Paypal Australia has a $1000 limitation for every paypal account. When an account exceeds the limit the account holder is asked to verify their details!

This is a pain in the back side! Can one of you come up with a under the radar mode for this!

I had my ebay and paypal account suspended and have close on 2000 bucks stuck in their and the worst thing about this is, I have all the items mailed to my customers! I can't refund them either ( refunds are allowed).

More than one account to s p r e a d sales :)

Dont use paypal. Alternative methods exist. Bit of extra work but available.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I am doing that now :) do you advise me to submit an ABN? And create a DBA ABN? The last comment came out because all my customers were nervous to see my listings being pulled down and they were like what's happening, though I had provided them with tracking numbers.

I don't blame them, fortunately I handled it well and gave them good customer service by making calls to them.

I learnt from my mistakes, I relisted fast! oh can you please list the other ways? And making a merchant account is laborious!

ABN equivalent to a business registration in Australia?

ABN is the Australian business number and you need one to register a business.

Strange, im up over 4k in sales and have not been asked to provide anything.

do you withdraw regularly? has your PP balance hit 1k before?

Can somebody tell me exactly what this $1000 limit is about?
Is it the amount over a year?
Is it the total amount of payments coming into the PP, or is it just the amount that is sitting in the PP?

Can anyone please add some info about this - i.e what steps do you take to verify a stealth account, and, what happens to your funds if you don't
