Australia paypal 21 day payment hold?
 

I just received payment from selling on Australia ebay but odd the payment need hold 21 day just as US, UK do. It is first time of my stealth account receive AU payment. Does any one have the same issue? My another stealth account doesn't got same problem.

Has been the case for paypal for years in Australia.

Not all accounts get the holds.

They do apply if paypal decides.

This is very normal for stealth accounts, especially if the linked eBay account is selling high risk items. It is a simple matter of passing PayPal's 'established seller' test. All you need to do is simply sell 5 items with good feedback and no complaints or claims and also wait 30 days. Once this is done, the restriction usually lifts and you have a fully functional PayPal account.

Even if you pass it, holds can be REPLACED on an account...annoyingly :mad2:

Opened about 8 Aus accounts over the last 6 months and noticed that this doesn't happen to all the accounts. Only had it happen to 3 out of the 8 so far.

Just going through this. Really really annoyed. Is there anyway they will let you withdraw before the 30 days if you get the 5 pos feedbacks? Ive only sold these items as I need to pay rent!
