Paypal limited, first time, eBay ok
 

G'day all
Just got limited on Paypal - first time, for selling an un-aproved item on a web site. I am not selling this item on eBay and so far (2 days now) my eBay is ok except that I can't buy using Paypal. I switched my payment method for fees to bank account only. In the email I got from Payal it did not say anything about me not being permitted to use ebay. In order to continue sales with Paypal while I learn about stealth accounts, I used a friends Paypal address (with his permission) in the box for "select how you will be paid" for each item. I do not log on to my friends Paypal but he sends me the money. It is working for now.
It is interesting ebay enables you to select a different paypal address for each item if you want to. It seems what I am doing it totally legitimate; I am selling items for a friend and he gets paid directly.
My question is: does ebay allow you to sell if you have been banned from Paypal? Is it only a matter of time before ebay finds out that I have been limited and then they will shut me down?

Welcome to the forums. Stealth process is now your friend.

Don't use friend's PP - you are risking more problems.

As for your question, it is possible that PP will ban you separately and your eB will still be strong for long time.

Since they are the same company, ebay will be aware now of the issue.
