New paypal account
 

Hi guys,

Question:
I tried to sign up an new paypal account today and when I was about to enter the card details to verified the whole thing, I got an email and saying that please provide documents for your address?

May I know does it happen to all new paypal account or just me ?

Yikes! Not had this in OZ for a long time.

Can you think of any reason ?

What card did you use?

Master card,
but the account was limited before I link my card........

Is it possible with my ip ?
I was suspended long time ago.
I think i should use vpn to register another one?

I have noticed when opening a Paypal account directly rather then through eBay Paypal give you the option to confirm your address through Australia Post's address data base. If your address is different to the Aus post data base and you do not act on the PP option to change your registered address to conform with the Aus post record, you'll be subjected to the request too confirm your address with documentation.

Is correct.

If PayPal cannot match address you input - you will be hit with that notice.
