Paypal $1000 AUD limitation
 

Been living in Australia for some time, opened the bank account and paypal account as well.

One day I've reached the $1000 AUD in my paypal, and got this letter:


Your PayPal account balance is now over $1000 AUD so we've had to limit
your account until we receive proof of identity documents from you to
confirm your identity.

Until we can confirm your identity, we need to limit most functionality on
your account. For now, you can continue to receive payments, but you won't
be able to withdraw funds or make payments.





I've confirmed my identity, but wasn't able to confirm my residence address since I don't live in the Australia anymore.
So, what's next? Is there any chance to unlock these $1000 AUD? Will I be able to get them in 180 days?(When does this apply?)

Sorry guys any info about this?

I have googled a lot but didn't really found the exact answer. Were there the cases where people were limited in Australia(!) because of these 'Anti-Laudering' rules, and got their funds in 180 days anyway?

Should I expect the money in 180 days even if the limitations placed to comply with this 'anti-laundering laws'? Or will it be locked forever?

You need to get something then along with other bits to remove that.

Got it. But what about 180-day withdrawal?

or it doesn't work when account is limited because of 'anti-mohey laundering laws'?
