Used Inkfrog Auctions, will it show my name?
 

Hello,

I have just signed up for an inkfrog account. I used my name to sign up for it and i currently have a blocked ebay account due to it being linked to another user who was blocked from 2001! Also me!

I now use my mates ebay account, however when i signed up for inkfrog and sent the token across to ask ebay consent i was wondering wether it sent my name as well? My user name is the same as the account so no problems there just used my real name to actually sign up for the inkfrog account.

Can they link like this or is it just your main username they could link?

no inkfrog wouldnt have sent your name, those are just your sign up details, it would have shown your ip only

So just another question for you, will it show the IP of the computer everytime i upload items all does it just show the sign up IP? I want to upload items from my work computer however i was suspended and used that computer with the suspeneded account.

no , it wont , just that first time when it redirects you to ebay and generated ebay token. After that ebay doesnt come in to equation..

Could i use the local library computers to sign up for inkfrog or auctiva and then use the account with my own computer or would this cause problems for me when i then start listing on Ebay??

Auctiva and Inkfrog use their own IP address to connect to ebay. Just be careful when Auctive or Inkfrog asks you to click on a link to go directly to ebay. Otherwise it is ok. I asked this same question a year ago and had some stealth accounts set up to bypass this problem.
