Is it safe to use Ebay Turbo Lister?

I am done with Auctiva (I refuse to pay another penny just to be able to sell on ebay). So I uploaded all my photos to photobucket, created all my listings in Word using HTML and now am looking for a free service to just copy and paste my listings and to be able to schedule listings. The only thing I have been able to find is Ebay's turbo lister.

I am wondering if it is safe to use on a stealth account? I never used Ebay Turbo Lister before and only have one stealth account.

Thanks to all who take the time to reply! :)

No, TL is not safe to use with a stealth account. I highly recommend getting the Stealth Book as it will inform you of those programs not safe and a whole lot more.

How about Vendio? Is that safe to use? I see they are offering a free 60 day trial.....do you have to give them a credit card to use the free trial??????

I am currently using Vendios 60 day trial. As far as I know they are safe to use as long as you sign up with the stealth account info. (I could be wrong) I haven't had any problems so far. (2 weeks now)

Yes you do have to enter a credit or debit card number for the trial.

They are pretty expensive to use and it's not really worth it unless you are dealing in high volume. They do let you set up a store which is a great feature.

I will be canceling before the trial is up so I won't be charged.

As far as using Turbolister as the others said no it is defiantly not safe to use.

Aside from it trying to automatically sign you into your accounts, it's hard telling what eBay has hiding in that software. Spyware, tracking scripts, who knows.

Thanks webguy! :) Do you know if a prepaid CC will work for signing up with Vendio.....or does it have to be a bank card etc.?? Thanks! :)

webguy 08-22-2009 01:33 PM

I used a Simon VCC for signing up for my Vendio trial. The information on the VCC I used is the same on the eBay and Paypal accounts.

A prepaid CC will work to but I would only use it if has the same info that's on the ebay and vendio account.

I'm not for sure if it is an absolute must but I take no chances.

Thanks again webguy! :) I still have the same PP CC I used for making purchases on ebay awhile back that is still good, so I will use that one. You have been extremely helpful!!!!! Thank you so much for all of your help! :)

What is the best way to use the 60 day free trial. Things on Vendio look more complicated than they did on Auctiva. Any Vendio free trial suggestions? I dont see a place where I can enter in my HTML listing.
