Would selling adult items be a risky move?
 

Would selling adult items on a newly created stealth account be too risky? Would adult items on an aged stealth account be okay, or is that also risky?

Ive been wondering this too, a friend of mine has some toys she wants to sell. Im thinking its not ok. But I could be wrong... Anyone?

Toys are fine. Trains, dolls, trucks sell well;) LOL.

Ever heard of the adults only section on ebay? Or was the train of thought a bit of boldness in the normal part & list there?

It's a rather active section. You need to be 18 years or older & have a CC to just L@@K.

And also rules are stating that you can't accept paypal.

Not 100% accurate. paypal can be used for certain items.

I was selling in "adults only" section, rules stating that you cant accept paypal. And in auction you cant say it. But lot of people paying with paypal anyway.

I never read that you cannot use paypal for adult stuff.

I've sold a ton of adult items all paid with paypal. opps...

There is mention in the Paypal ToS and also on eBay that does say a seller is not permitted to accept payment via Paypal for adult oriented items that inherently belong in the adult category. You can list your Depends (adult oriented product) in the medical supply section and accept Paypal. Technically, you can not accept Paypal for explicit erotic art (different kind of adult oriented product).

Now, we all know how to be creative when it comes to getting ourselves paid. The fact remains that rules is rules. The fun is in the bending.

There is an age restriction. The date of birth you used when you registered is not sufficient since they know people can spoof that. Last I knew, there was another age verification step to view the adult goodies. But my knowledge is from years ago and not current by any means.
