How to sell replica phones
 

As the title sugest,how can i sell a replica phone without getting hit by the ebay hammers ? I am not implying that i want to sell them without specifiing that they are replica...but how do go about the items title ? "Nokia n81 replica " ?or what ?

Any advice would be apreciated.

don't even waste your time with those. especially if they are replicas.

First you need to buy 1 and make sure everything works properly and what type of sim card it takes because its been my experience alot of them don't even work. If everything works then just sell them as the real thing.

Don't even bother. You will get many complaints about them since most of the replica phones are cheaply made and jam when opening and don't have Wi-Fi or the factory's applications. At first I was thinking about selling this kind of stuff when I wasn't using my brain to my maximum potential but then I got way better ideas of what profitable products to sell.

agree.... you will get loads of takedowns if you aren't very careful and there is tons of competition....

If your supplier is any good they will offer you workable solutions for title and description that will minimise your takedowns.

Otherwise see what others are doing - particularly sellers with lots of history selling such phones!

You can't refer to the manufacturer/model of the phone it supposedly 'replicates' so no mentioning apple or nokia.

I sold the iphone clone once about 30 of them, had the same description as the real one except I put the words "china version" in the title, and they sold like crazy the only problem is nothing works except the mp3 player and the camera and I had to return about 7-8 of them, I still have few with me.

Did ebay ever takedown any of the listings? Thats odd that you were able to put "china version" in there without them being taken down immediately.

The first time I put the words replica and it got taken so then I deleted that and just put china version and none of those got taken down.
