pcware 04-19-2010 03:30 PM

your baby can read

do you want to sell some??/ send me a PM

OfficialGenius 04-19-2010 07:08 PM

What about Baby Signing Time? :D

pcware 04-19-2010 07:21 PM

possibly depends on what you want for them.

riversnew 04-19-2010 08:05 PM

How about teflon powersellers on ebay, are they affected?

Rocketman007 04-20-2010 01:28 PM

Try cragslist.I sell a couple a week on it,hard to sell there sometimes
due the scams.

a215bz 04-20-2010 03:46 PM

Yea the same happened to me. I sell with amazon and you can't list those items on it anymore because they blocked it completely starting a couple days ago.

Also I've never really tried craigslist can you please just give me an idea of you make deals with people on it.

a215bz 04-20-2010 05:49 PM

I still have about 40 sets of them and don't know what to do with them.

art888 05-06-2010 04:42 AM

I have 16 of these sets... my bad experiences are with these:

Zumba fitness: bought 20 sold 18
Your baby can read: bought 20 sold 4
Insaniy: bought 20 sold 17

NOW I RESEARCH BEFORE I BUY!! OHH AND I SEE THAT BABY SINGING TIME HAS ITS OWN STORE ON EBAY SO THEY ARE NO GOOD... HOPE THIS HELPS

teedon 05-06-2010 05:36 AM

now ebay and amazon are very stickly for selling dvds ,you need to find more good way for selling the dvds, like building your own website and make it famous, more people will come to your site directly .No rule ,No banned in your site, you can post anythings.

art888 05-07-2010 01:03 AM

hahaha not true i made a site especially to sell your baby can read products, so i used google adwords 2 days later i was not able to advertise on GOOGLE with my domain because your baby can read reported me.. so you might get away for 2 days tops!!

my domain was stealth like this:

look go to networksolutions.com and enter my website to look for my contact details my domain is spicereplicas.com you will see that the details are completely stealth. PM me if you need help setting up a stealth website

Vicvelcro 05-09-2010 01:52 AM

You are only stealth to the general public. If law enforcement requests the full details of a domain registrant, they get the info without much delay. If a law firm requests the registration info on behalf of a client, same thing.

For instance, if company XYZ sees a site selling their product and they did not authorize your site to distribute their product, they simply have their lawyer contact your host. The lawyer will inform your host of the alleged infringement. Your info will be provided and your site will almost always be immediately unavailable. Your host will very likely stop all traffic to your site and visitors will be redirected to a page that is worded vaguely but probably give your visitors the impression that you routinely barbeque infants and kick puppies.

That is just one example. It gets worse.

wilburnet 05-09-2010 11:54 AM

Yes Teedon , its the best way . You can list on your own website , set up a Google adwords account and watch your ad's driving traffic to your store and selling all those Baby Can Read . I must say they are very profitable along with the P90X series

jeffweico 05-09-2010 04:15 PM

teedon 05-10-2010 12:10 AM

yes, wilburnet, you are right, smart people always get the smart way for selling the profitable products out.

jamblix 05-10-2010 02:02 AM

Craigslist is the way to go. It is so simple, create a craigslist account which takes literally under a minute if you've got you're e-mail open. Post a new ad in your city, pick the category, describe the item, leave your phone # on the ad so people can contact you and sell away.

Most likely you'll meet them at some location close to you coffee shop, fast food joint, whatever, than you give them the goods and they give you cash. It really is that easy.

Vicvelcro 05-10-2010 02:52 AM

The downside to craigslist: you meet the buyer and they mug you are they are bizarre freaks. Pummeling thugs gets old after a few times around.

Plus all the spam you get.

i agree if your selling high price items, but baby can read.......i doubt anyone would mug you for that!

Vicvelcro 05-10-2010 10:49 AM

I've had that issue when meeting a buyer for one of my $20 USB adapters. You just never know. Crazy freak thinks he's gonna get large on me... Well, surprise surprise, I'm even crazier when I let the monster off the leash.

It got old.

i guess you live in a state that allows CHL :)

wow, attempted mugging on a $20 adapter, what is the world coming to.

Vicvelcro 05-10-2010 01:58 PM

The event was in the vicinity of Detroit.

OfficialGenius 05-10-2010 02:00 PM

I've never done the craigslist thing but I got into it for the first time recently and I pretty much meet them inside a store or in the city. If they are dodgy about it then I know what were their intensions

cardfelon 05-10-2010 02:09 PM

Well Detroit was known as the murder of the capital of the US for quite some time. I have been there only once and would never go back. Not a great place

Murder capital of the world for a very long time. Washington DC took the title from us for 1 year. Recently, a Mexican border town has made a bid for the title, but we still have the rest of the year to regain the lead. We're trying.

cardfelon 05-10-2010 03:08 PM

Thats the spirit!

Burning 05-10-2010 06:03 PM

Vic, you need to come to Canada. No violence, no one has guns and there are less thugs...

Ahh..sweet Canada!

Vicvelcro 05-10-2010 06:13 PM

Ok, now that's just going too far! What do you do for fun?!?!?

SlickJane 05-10-2010 06:35 PM

I have 10 zumbas from forever ago. I listed the zumba on craigslist and it was removed within 30 minutes.

Vicvelcro 05-10-2010 06:38 PM

Competitors flagged your listing?

You need to try Kijiji, it's really popular in Canada..but you might want to be careful as it's owned by ebay. You never know, what ebay can do....:spy:

teedon 05-19-2010 12:20 AM

yes,be careful now, your baby can read, zumba, can not sell on ebay any more now.

Imback2010 05-19-2010 04:05 AM

It has already happened, a seller I'm tracking has been selling the Your Baby Can Read 5 DVD 50 Flash Card set for a ridiculous price of $55.00. I'm glad to say that this particular seller has no more items up for sale currently, most likely got the sting from eBay.

These ****en idiots man these low-ballers are pissing me off. I'm glad to say that this particular seller has no more items up for sale currently, most likely got the sting from eBay.

I hope your kidding me I looked on dhgate and you can get the your baby can read for $13 a piece so $55 is overpriced I used to know a guy who would sell those for $35 piece resulting in a profit of $15 to $20 profit. you dont know business lower the price= the more sales you get.

Imback2010 05-21-2010 12:34 AM

When you Lower the price too Low Customers get suspicious...the whole point would be to pass them on as real copies... you cannot tell people in a listing that these items came from dhgate blahh blahh blahh...so your friend was just hurting his own profit probably in an attempt to get rid of some hot items that he couldnt sell on ebay ....lol and why would you take a risk of your account being taking down for a measly 15 dollar profit on a item(but that probably was on craigslist).this might sound wrong but you have to be greedy in this world...i make triple of my vero items and people never complain...(knock on Wood) Havent received a bad feedback Ever from one item i purchased off dhgate...but i know it will happen

how do you think industrial america was built??? by greedy tycoons thats how......not by fair wisemen...lol that just the way it is IMO...

Richer get richer and the poor get Screwddddd...which side will you be on...lol

dont take any of this personal man im just stating my opinion.

OfficialGenius 05-21-2010 02:14 AM

Excellent response! Very well said.

Vicvelcro 05-21-2010 03:59 AM

Re #38:

While I don't entirely agree with the motive, you expressed your point very clearly. And it is valid.

The predatory and viscious undercutting of list-price only serves to harm any market. Small scale price competition is good for the consumer and does keep sellers on their toes. Price wars don't serve any good purpose at all.

When all my favorite shows went to reruns last year, I entertained myself watching the P90 wars on ebay.

Imagine, some day 5280 years from now, an archaeologist from the planet Antaire #B will dig up this hard drive and mistakenly deduce that the Great Emperor Aspkin commanded Generals Vic and No ID to defeat the slave army of the once great nation of eBay in a 4 year conflict which spread throughout North America, Europe, and Asia in what will henceforth be known as the P90 Wars. Science fiction material there. I better copyright and franchise that...
