Default Camera used before, but not with EB?

Have read many threads on this and understand if using the same camera as that used with a previous suspended acct, it's basically best to strip the data somehow to be on the safe side. I have two digi cameras, the second has never been used with my old suspended acct.

This second camera HAS been used to take photos and upload them to my pc. Just never with anything to do with ebay: I have never used this second digi camera to take ebay photos, upload them to my pc, then list auctions with those photos.
I have only used this second camera and it's sd card to take personal photos, and upload them to my pc.
Is this second camera therefore fine to use with a new stealth acct? (with no need to strip/change data).

In my opinion it would take your account to be under great scruitiny for them to look to form a link via data from your pictures.

However being stealth you should try to eliminate the chances of this happen by doing everything possible to stay stealth.

Stripping photo's takes like a second? - so you may as well just do it to be on the safe side...thats my opinion anyway

, it's just I've done so much work, reading, research, question-asking, etc etc making sure everything's in place, the last thing I want to do is balls it up on this front.
Believe it or not I actually agree with everyone who says it would be an extreme way to link, but I'm also painfully aware of how random/ridiculous ebay is, and the fact I know relatively little about camera/pc technology, in addition to the hundreds of stories posted here daily of people messing up, or being linked, or not being careful enough, to their detriment.

Imakemoney- thanks, yes I agree re: first two lines, third line great: I had/have no idea it only takes a few seconds... back to a few lines up, my knowledge of technology is not great! so I better get researching on this stripping now.

Yes its easily done.

Heres a link to a tool which can strip your photos. all you do is drag the photo accross and click clear once downloaded.

Will shortly have two user accounts on my pc: User A (the one I still use to buy from ebay- my real acct- but have been suspended permanently from selling), and user B. Forgive my poor grasp of technology, but those photos of items in the 'my pictures' folder of user A (the one that I used to use for selling before suspension), that I need to now sell those same items when using the user B account, do I simply need to go into my user A acct, strip the photos using the site you've given, copy them to USB, then put the same photos, now with no exif data etc all stripped out, from this USB into 'My pictures' folder when using User B? Or copy them from User A pc acct to USB first, then strip them once inside the User B account on my pc? Basically, at what point do I strip the photos of their data? And then the best way to get them from where they currently are (user A acct, suspended from selling) to user B acct on my pc- just transfer via USB?

Transferring pictures, use a flash drive.

Or smart phone if you have one.

Just remove the metadata. I use a file called smallimage on my Mac which strips all data from the images. I have never had any problems

@DiamondA, here's what you do:

1. Take multiple pictures of your item(s). Different angles, lighting etc.
2. Rename your files if you desire
2. Use the software imakemoney recommended (most of use this software so it's safe)
3. Save your files (Flash Drive, or HDD) (I personally have everything on Flash Drive.
4. List your item with the new pictures
5. Drop some funds in my Paypal (ok just an option really)

^^^ many thanks- that's what I was after- the order of doing things- wasn't sure if you copied to flash drive then used software (then listed items), or used software then copied to flash drive (then listed)- thanks for clarifying it's the latter- maybe one of these days i'll actually have some funds in dear ol' paypal to drop into your acct lol!

Same here. I was thinking that was only if the pictures were STORED on your old user account on your computer. I had no idea this had anything to do with the camera. What if you sold the camera at a garage sale and the dude that bought it used it for eBay? Guess he's busted then?

Do you really need to bump up all these old threads?

Newbie is using good use of the search button which is something everybody seems to recommends. While bumping an old thread is not recommended you still have to give them participation points!

What exactly constitutes an old thread?

I would say 6 months to year I don't know it's hard to say. On some other forums they flip out if you bump an thread older then 30 days.
