I was given an account from a good friend of mines about 4 months ago. This account had 40 feedback which half was for selling minor video games some some high dollar items as well. The account was opened in 2001 so it has alot of time under its belt.
I had asked on the forums prior if i could just go off and start selling like a mad man since the account is legit and since it is 10 years old. I was told no way and to take it slow. So here i am now.
Its going on 4 months since the first item sold. I have got nothing but positive feedbacks about 50 of them and now i'm at 90 or so feedback with a DSR rating of 4.9, 4.9 5.0 and 4.9. This is in 4 months. I have sold about 10,000 worth of stuff in that 4 months and have never had a limit on the account. I was just taking it real slow. No calls from E Bay pr PP the only thing i get is emails that say i'm doing great or emails that state that they want me to sell more.
Now my question is, Do you guys think i'm in the free and clear already? There is no limits on my account, all i get is emails like this one " Wow Seller check out your sales record", OR Sell more on E bay are you doing great." No one from E bay has ever called or emailed and i'm about to get powerseller status. I just need some clarification. I'm NOT selling XXXX and all i'm selling is auto parts.
Right now i have about 30 auctions up which total 5000.00 up at one time. This is the most that i have had up. I have been really selling 3-4 things weekly or something like that. I would like to bump it up. Any advise would be greatly appreicated.
Do i still need to go slow and if so till when? |
