Billionaire Boys Club
Bathing Ape
For billionaire boys club, i tried Billionaire Boys but when i search Billionaire Boys Club it still does not show my listing.

Thechronicles | 04-20-2008 12:14 PM | club boys billionaire? |
f1br3opt1c | 04-20-2008 12:27 PM | Just to let you all know, I just tried billionaire boys ape club and it works. Exploit ebay's search completion :P |

jscan | 04-22-2008 11:03 PM | yeah thought so, goodluck |
jscan | 04-24-2008 03:34 AM | i dont like there clothing, not my stuff. |
imjustme | 04-24-2008 07:06 AM | What good does it do if it shows up when the VERO holders search for it and shoot you down? |
jscan | 04-24-2008 08:23 AM | its basically to avoid ebays unauthorized item, trademark infringement bs. VERO is still a risk. |
f1br3opt1c | 04-25-2008 05:57 AM | Damn vero still caught me :( So how to go about selling then |

GreenBean | 04-25-2008 06:11 AM | err, That's the original Billionaire Boys: those clothing dudes 'stole' the name. Bad luck about your items though. |
f1br3opt1c | 04-25-2008 07:30 AM | Maybe i should put that billionaire boys original photo as the main photo. Then when people click inside there will be the item :P |
Thechronicles | 04-25-2008 10:53 AM | lol try it |
f1br3opt1c | 04-25-2008 08:34 PM | Damn bbc has been soo active since yesterday. They took down all my listings in between hours. I will try it with a new account later on. Dont want to get suspended now.
I realised tags with BBC and having bathing ape pictures was not taken down.
Will try it with a new account later on. |
MOBSTER | 05-05-2008 02:12 AM | is it against ebays policy to put surfer surf board t-shirt NOT quiksilver? or would that be infringing on quiksliver? i looked around on ebay and know there is some info about titles, but i couldnt find it. im more concerned about infringing, not suspension. |
MOBSTER | 05-05-2008 03:36 AM | nevermind, i finally found the answer on ebay.. so you cant use "not (namebrand)", but you can say title: wireless headset "compatible" with samsung. then in description, you can say "compatible with samsung phones" so if you are selling generic software and need to use a brand keyword to get traffic, if you can put "compatible, or "use with" in the title, you should be okay.
this doesnt work for me on the clothing issue, unless someone can think of a clever word for "compatible" for clothes LOL. |
imjustme | 05-05-2008 06:19 AM | So "Surfer Shirt COMPATIBLE WITH Quiksilver"
ROFL :D |
jscan | 05-05-2008 07:12 AM | lol, good one. "brand new handbag, louis vuitton compatible " |
MOBSTER | 05-05-2008 07:51 PM | yeah, doesnt work well with purses or clothes, shoes etc.. but if your selling an accessory to something and need to use a name brand keyword.. its safe if you put "compatible with, or use with (name brand).
in the description (according to ebay) if you were selling a generic purse, you could safely say in the description "the print on this purse is much more versatile then Louis Vuitton" prints, you can match it to almost any of your outfits".. BUT you cant compare it to Louis Vuitton, you cant say "looks like". Most of you guys probably already know this, but maybe this will be valuable info to a new ebayer. |
Lisa B | 05-15-2008 01:03 PM | Oh. And here I thought he was really selling product associated with Joe Hunt's Billionaire Boys Club from the 80's.
