Is there any tool that let's me know when a competitor lowered their price?
 

I'm looking for some kind of tool that could let me know when a competitor lowered the price of an item in BuyItNow on ebay - does any know about someting like this?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Seriously though, I know they have one for Amazon, but I'm not sure if one exists for eBay.

I just stick any competitors items in my EB watchlist and just make a note to check every day :)

I hope they never put in a tool for this - i think it will seriously mess up e/b everyone will try to under cut people even more - as if it wasn't bad enough already?

Right now it's perfect since everyone selling at higher prices or lower prices on products still make sales thats the beauty of it i think - makes it fair and everyones given a chance from day 1 of making your account, even when your in a market that is saturated.

We don't the big guys taking over e/b completely with this tool and essentially killing small businesses.

What is the name for the amazon tool called?

AZ tool is not a separate tool from what I see - it's just something on your seller page that shows if your product has a lower competitor price.

Highly doubt it.

Only way this "may" happen is if a third party program offers it, in turn E/B may have to agree to it.
