Default Need some help for resizing ebay images

hi guys

Does anyone know how to resize /crop images so that they appear in the gallery as large as possible.

I take pics off my ipad then download to my laptop then upload to ebay but they appear alot smaller than others.

I have tried to resize /crop with some free software but no joy.

im i right in thinking the image should be 1600 long by 1200 pixels to achive maxium size.

been banging my head for hours trying to figure it out, please help before i throw my computer out the window

thanks

PSE is a nice and easy program to use. There is a function that will let you process multiple images at once. So as long as you take a decent pics that don't need cropping you can bosh them through there and change all of the sizes, formats, quality, and some other processing things all within about 3 mouse clicks.

In reply to your actual question - they say they should be a min of 1000 wide, right? Im sure thats the message I get when listing.

Mine are not always that big but always show up as the same size as everyone elses!

What size have you been uploading to make your pics seem so small?

Best to learn to use PS. PS7 can be had for free and is well worth learning some simple stuff with to make your auctions pop. I use PS to put a well defined border around my Gal pics in red or blue something like that.

Always size a Gal image square to get the max real estate in your listings such as 400x400 or 600x600 or 800x800 in any case you never want the height to be less than the width or your listing will be narrower than your competition.

and get a Photobucket account for images in your listing.

Are you sure your saving Images and not thumbnails from the Ipad? Right click on the images your about to upload to ebay on your computer and view the properties and see what size they are prior to uploading.
