| | | Killuminati | 09-25-2012 10:48 AM | Adjusting Images What do you use? I am currently using adobe lightroom 4 for adjusting images brightness contrast etc quality and resizing i wanted to know is there anything out there thats better and easier to use because the program i use now is slowing down my pc.
What do you guys use?? |
Gimp should be easier on your system load than adobe lightroom.
What are the specs for your pc ??? |
| Stigger | 09-25-2012 12:06 PM | snagit is a good little program. |

I personally use the Adobe CS 6 series of applications but these would be memory & processor intensive to you. 1 GB is about the absolute minimum really.
I would guideline you to look at applications that have a low memory/processor usage load.
These are some applications you may want to explore:
Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo
Corel Painter
Corel Photo-Paint
Microsoft Paint
Ulead PhotoImpact
SnagIt
CorelDRAW |

Scrolling wondows , Copy full pdf

Does everything and really easy to get used to |
| pancho | 10-09-2012 01:39 PM | There is also getpaint(.)net |
| they_screwed_me_too | 10-09-2012 03:11 PM | gimp for me |
| dom03 | 10-28-2012 10:30 PM | I have found Irfanview to be the quickest and easiest way to resize and change colour.
Also integrates into the windows shell to give you right click context menus to open with |
| club1010 | 10-29-2012 10:38 AM | CorelDraw serves me very well, once you go CorelDraw and know how to use it, you'll never go back!.....It's just like going Mac.
I always point at ebay on my computer screen and say "I Corel Ya!!" with angry voice.
:bounce: |
| sidebetz | 10-29-2012 11:27 AM | i always use photoshop, its seems like overkill for such a trivial matter but i actually enjoy using it. |
| luverlyjuberly | 05-12-2013 03:57 PM | I use a program called photofiltre. Free to download, easy to use and suits my needs perfectly. |
| Sandy D | 05-12-2013 07:13 PM | Wow, this is the first time I remember someone here using the SNAG IT program.
Since this thread is older if you have not looked at this take the time.
One cool program to use. |
EXIF and paint keeps it simple :) |
| Sandy D | 05-14-2013 07:52 PM | I wish I had your PS skills MM, I would be rich like you.....

Perfect resize 7.5 with photoshop cs6 and batchpurifier |
| newjerseymax | 05-17-2013 02:02 PM | MS paint works for me also |
| golden_monkey | 05-17-2013 06:46 PM | paint.net -- |
| Sausage | 05-17-2013 08:05 PM | Photoshop 6 for everything, if you really get into it you can do anything so its worth looking into tutorials. Without it I would be lost. |
| golden_monkey | 05-18-2013 11:11 PM | wouldn't you say photoshop is kinda overkill for listing pictures?
most you have to do is crop, brightness, hue, resize.. |

| Brainbuster | 08-17-2013 10:56 PM | Just listed my first item on my stealth account.
I stripped the photo using Stripper, and also Batchpurified it.
My only concern is that, when I checked the Properties of the image,
I noticed that it said at the bottom something like the following
Samuel-PC/User-MikeJones/MyPictures/item.jpg
Where "Samuel-PC" would be the name of my computer, the Administrator (me),
and "MikeJones" is the name of the stealth user.
I'm hoping Ebay can't see that. |
Those are just details of where the file is located. When you upload to Ebay that information doesn't go with the picture.
The only information that goes with the picture is the data you cleared with Stripper. |
| Brainbuster | 08-18-2013 01:33 AM | Oh, thank you, MM78. Actually it was one of your posts from which I downloaded the Stripper program. |

I do it part time...only made $10 so far! |
| john456 | 08-19-2013 12:36 PM | I use the following:
* Paint.NET for image editing (free)
* Screen Grab Pro for screen cap when needed (free)
* Batch purifier Lite for removing EXIF (free)
and I don't strip anymore. sorry. |
| Brainbuster | 08-19-2013 03:55 PM | Does Stripper do the same thing as BatchPurifier?
If I use BP do I need to strip? (I'd rather not...I feel so dirty after) |
| Brainbuster | 08-20-2013 12:28 PM | In other words, if I use BatchPurifier, will Stripper be superfluous? |

I only use batch purifier and I think it's great! |
1 program should do the job in general. |

Depends on the task. May need to use two programs for best result if you have enough experience in doing this sort of work
