using someone elses pic on ebay
 

I was wondering if I just took someone elses pic for an item I had to sell will ebay know that it was taken from someone else? I just don't have a camear now and didn't wanna use stock pics so just wondering[/PHP]

Just use google images, I use them all the time, I pull at least a dozen or more different pics for each item I have from google images, not stock photo's either.

You can copy the image to your computer then edit it slightly - make it your own by tilting the image slightly and changing the resolution on it.

I know it's bad to take other people pictures, but when I do (sometimes), I also ask the person. I just use the picture and not the description. If they say no then I dont use it.

Or see if you can take one from your computer's camera. Not the best in the world but better than nothing.

The person who took it can send ebay a message if proven that the pictures is theirs, ebay will send you a warning about it. Do it enough times and account is french burnt toast.

I believe your listing will also get taken down.

If I find you doing this on me, it wont end well. And I am sure others feel the same.

Of course eB can see this - they can link based on photos so they can see what's going on with unauthorized use of people's photos.

Edit it if absolutely needed.

Sorry but I'd report you if you stole my photos that I spend time on taking the perfect ones, then editing a bit. Use your own...anyone serious about selling on eBay should have their own camera or photos

Is it that freaking hard to take your own pictures? Seriously...Be Professional and do your own work.

Do you not own a Camera? Even a cheap $50 Camera will take decent pictures.
