Listing items in Canadian dollars
 

This means that the buyer will have to pay me in Canadian dollars, correct?

With what I'm selling, my sales will probably be 50% US buyers, 35% international, 15% Canada. I alread know the PayPal exchange rate is just going to KILL me when I try to transfer from PayPal to my bank in USD to CAD. It could lose me a combined $1k a month!

Do you think I should use the Canadian currency? It would make a $1-5 difference (maximum) to each US buyer - versus 1 grand combined for me, when I transfer.

Yes you can set it but remember - you will have annoyed customers who will ONLY want to pay in USD.... - i know this :FF:

Hmmm. Just US buyers will be annoyed or do you think international customers would be bothered as well?

Since you're Canadian as well, how do you manage not losing so much every time you transfer? I've looked around about getting a US account with RBC but apparently the transit # they give you never works, and you have to do all this other stuff. :pout:

I take payments in USD - I dont need to convert currency so badly so thats how I avoid. I also avoid PP WHENEVER POSSIBLE :thumb:...ugly exchange rates...

Oh I also have US-based bank accounts :)
