I've wondered this also until paypal is a must in the uk.

Dont think it can be done but just message your members and say pay through our invoice not ebay's auto i think?

lol. You can "turn off" ebay checkout but it doesn't make a difference except on ebay Australia site. Whenever PayPal is accepted as a payment method it is automatically turned on and on ebay and uk you must accept paypal so it is always on by default no matter what.

I'm not 100% sure on the merchant account because I don't have one set up with ebay, but just buy an item of yours and find out. Also, I assume on the eBay invoice with the merchant account that it states in the invoice the buyer accepts visa and credit cards through his merchant account but that is speculation.

Modee, what he means is. When an item is one and auctomatic invoice is sent to the customer to pay by paypal. I think this cannot be stopped.

With this "on" and using other alt's i.e nochex etc it's quite a pain as the cust almost always sues ebays invoice and pays via paypal

yeah it cant be turned off when paypal is accepted and now all new sellers must have paypal as a opition so it would be pointless.
