Re: finally back on eBay

Best to list low risk items, certain dvd's can be considered high risk..especially anything new.

rsot 12-18-2013 05:32 AM

Built some other seller feedback first - low end items

Household items, low end business items...ideas worth considering OP

Build some feedback first to be safe and take it slow. In the meantime, make more accounts to sustain your sale volume.
best of luck

You MUST be careful about your activity on the account.

DVDs are dangerous.

Find safer items to list. Go slowly.

avoid a used iphone :faint:

Hope you and the friend have made arrangments for tax matters too.

It is an IPHONE.

Scam city for many.

Be aware of the potential for troubles here.

Find safer items.

Good Luck

3 days is a little too quick to be starting sales on new account

I really would avoid selling anything like DVD's, iPhones ect on an account with 0 selling history

Start with things like old books. Much safer.

I would also start to build up some other stealths so you spread the risk

Mate were here to help you, take the advice, any new electronics is not good to start with.

Sure list it but expect a soft limitation at least.

Some people find it easier to learn the hard way i guess. :brick:

Re: finally back on eBay

This has been covered so many times on the forum.

NO iphone, phone items or electronics on a new account.

List some used books, household, yard sale items first.

Slow down and think about what you are doing. No need to hurry and get it canned right away.

Build trust and feedback first then go with items you have.

used or not, iphone would be a disaster as the first item listed.

Re: finally back on eBay

My first account 12 months ago I started with iPhone cables and screen protectors etc. it just had its limits increased to 100 last month. Has 100% 5* no problems.

My second account opened 9 months ago is now on 1100 £35000 limits. Selling safe things.

My latest account went to 30 the following month.

That first one had to endure 6 months of 10, then another 6 of 30.

Do the math

I used my Mothers details to open a new eBay account (with her permission). You've grabbed a friends account to use why not see if your parents will let you use their details for further stealth accounts. I found it less hassle than going down the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details route.

Re: finally back on eBay

if you want to sell some items around the house go ahead you got to start somewhere it's just if you try to sell stuff like cell phones and stuff like that you will not be able to sell them for much because of your low feedback score you can take some pictures and get some recipes and sell them on there for under .99 to build your feedback score also to start a seller history.
