Using photos on multiple accounts once exif data is cleared.

Asked this a couple times in other threads but no1 could give me a proper answer,

If I remove exif data from a photo can i them use that photo on a different account?

And do i need to remove exif data each time i use that photo on another account or do i just remove the exif data once then that's it?

Thanks.

Each photo needs the EXIT data removed only once.

Advised against using the same photos across several accounts. Same goes for different photos with the same back ground.

Need to make your accounts look as different from each other as possible.

Cheers for the reply James!

What's the point in removing exif data in the first place then if u can't use the photo on a different account?

I thought by removing exif data it's stops the accounts getting linked when using same pictures.

If you use the same camera to take all the pictures across all the accounts you could be linked by the camera itself.

Once EXIF is removed the data that can identify the camera (as well as other data) is removed.

If you use the same picture with the same background it only takes a second for anyone to figure out its the same person, so with that being said...IF you want to sell the same item across multiple accounts I suggest the following:
1. Take the picture of your item with different backgrounds, different angles
2. Remove picture data
3. Rename each set of pics so you know which account goes with those pics.

Ok thanks never new that, i get all my photos off the suppliers I buy from anyway and don't actually take the pictures myself, but will remove exif data just to be safe.

I sell on 100s of accounts and no picture look the same.

Different colors, angles, close ups, 5 pictures, 10 pictures etc.

Clear exif files and take completely different pictures.

keep track of what account has what type of picture.

That's a bad idea, it's best to take your own pictures.

There are some items that taking different photos of each one of them is impossible. I will give you an example:
Items that needs to be applied to a different surface to show how they look like on that surface.

I am not going to get to detailed. There are many items like that, that you get the photos from the supplier, and in most cases the supplier use photoshop himself to get better result of how the item looks like.

You can't apply 300 different designs to that surface and taking photos from different angles for each account. That would take forever.

The only way to make these pics look different without much work is to change the background with photoshop (solid color), and change the angle of the picture you got from the supplier, again using photoshop, with the "mirror" tool that switch the item to the opposite angle.

That is worse.

You should take your own photos to make sure you appear a different you.

Do nothing that links you to anyother account.

Stock photos can back fire for stealth.

How is it worse? I use different products and photos on each stealth account, any banned accounts I've had i don't sell that product again and use a different product on new account to make it appear different,

Was just trying to figure out if i could use same photos on different accounts and as James as explained it's a risk so won't be doing it.

Couple of users got their accounts limited. Common factor was stock photos.

ebay would not budge on that.

A couple users out of how many? what's the chances of getting limited for using stock photos? It's very rare isn't it?

And how am i at risk of my account being linked using my method from my last post?

So you are dropshipping?

If not, when you get the item in take pictures using the methods above so you can have them.

Put them on a thumb drive.

Not good to use stock photos.
