Vendio & Auctiva - Recycle or Dump after Suspension??

I apologize if this has been addressed. I could not see it in the search.

If you use a vendio or auctiva account and then your ebay account gets suspended, can you add a new ebay account without risk of being connected to the old account? Or should you always open a new vendio or auctiva account for a new ebay account.

I always have made new Auctiva accounts on the basis I am a new seller. Never take the chance of being linked. Token is no problem to
create.

I think it would be smarter to make a new auctiva account as well, as I tried recycling one and account was suspended shortly after.

You can't use the same auctiva account and switch it to a different ebay account. It's a technical issue in auctiva.

Ok, so I asked this before and never received a response from someone with experience with this. Because of recent changes in the vendio system, I need to reuse an older vendio account so I can continue to use vendio desktop.

If I add my new ebay ID to an old vendio account, do you think it will cause problems? Last year I kinda did this. It worked for a few weeks, but I was linked BECAUSE of paypal payments crossing into each others accounts.

I know the account I was using had been used with an ebay account that had previously been suspended. They never did link them though.

Auctiva.... I always open a new account.

Vendio.... Never used it.

What if you just ask to change your auctiva user name?

Lyda 03-28-2009 02:38 PM

Go to FAQ and you will find something like "How to change user ID"..There is a form Auctiva wants you to fill and email to them. I run into that after I changed my user ID on Ebay. If that is also your issue, and you just need old Auctiva to work with current user ID name on Ebay, all you need to do is generate new token.

ebaykilla 03-29-2009 07:38 AM

the problem is that the pics used on auctiva will link you if the url's are the same.

GreenBean 03-29-2009 07:49 AM

Hmm. I think the OP is concerned about vendio. I used it for about one month, then changed to auctiva .
