Can eBay link my HTML codes in listings?

Just want to know if anybody has any experience of getting linked because they used the same codes in html listings....

If you have the same image names in the code, then yes. But a generic code will not do anything.

Do you mean as in the structure of the HTML is exactly the same?
Plus the names of the objects like images, links etc are the same?

Then yes, they can.

But if you change the codes and the structure around a little bit, so they all look more original and unique, I think you should be ok.

If you haven't already, using auctiva's templates and writing short descriptions manually saves you a lot of time and they'll all look different from each other.

If you simply copy & paste that HTML code from one account to another, it is more than likely it will get linked.

Yes HTML code is simplistic and one little change in font, color, spacing, etc. will render the code different from another. But if you are simply copy/pasting HTML code to/from accounts...this can link you (quite easily too).

And I am speaking from my own experience. Years ago...before I knew of stealth, I had a great listing that I was tired of people stealing. I put in the HTML code to disable the right click button. I thought it was a great HTML code and I used it in another account.

Sure enough, account was linked to previously suspended account.

Saijan offered some good advice on what options you can do to change things up...follow that.

The suggestions above will keep you out of problems.

When I started coding html years ago, I built websites from scratch, it was pain. Today with all the eBay woes, it pays off a great deal.
