Switching condition of multiple items from "used" to "new"

I have had this question in mind for a while and thought it would be safer to bring it up
before I risk (or not) my account.
My strategy in few accounts that I have was to dedicate each account to a specific
niche and start selling items from that niche as used items (even though they are brand
new), first so it would be less risky in the eyes of ebay, and second so I could list for
lower price, make less profit but gain more traffic, feedback, sales and increase in sales limitation.
It worked quite good on two accounts, and I got the feedback I needed and high limits.
My question is, would it be safe now to GRADUALLY change the condition of items from used to new?
So far I was using same photos, same description etc and simply re-list an item when it ended/sold.
Is it safe to make a gradual change and make these items new condition without having major changes
in description/pictures etc

I have no issues at all doing this. Some of my sellers do this all the time, mostly because of crushed packages(clamshell) to eliminate complaints for new in package items.
Basically lowering buyers expectations.

We swap this up all the time BUT notice almost no difference in price. Zero risk to an account.

I also have had zero issues switching from Used to New on the same listings
