3 Day Listings on eBay. Good idea or not?
 

My apologies if subject was discussed at length already. I am wondering what community thinks about using 3 Day Listings on eBay in general.

1. Do you sell more with 3 Day Listings?

2. Does eBay look closer at your account if you this particular format?

3. Any (besides Vero) items are that big No-No for 3 Days listings?

4. Is there any particular proportion of 3 Day Listings to other ones that works better for you?

Same here. I only do BIN/BO in general, but switching from 30 day to 3 has increased sales.
You figure, a lot of people might just browse the category looking for soonest ending... that 30 day item will never show up to them.

I use combo of 3 day, 5 day, 7 day listings - I find that the time of listing is big for me. I don't deal with Vero or particular hot items however.

Hot items in a nitch market can cause issues, sell as fast as possibly is my moto. Three day BIN gets better search results and sells faster as a general rule.

On BIN and not hot items is it better to do 5/7 days listing even if you only sell 4/5 month or better GTC so you can keep getting sales history on that listing which should improve search results as time goes on? And also save on listing fees, I usually do GTC on those type of items

I sell collectibles and I only use 3 and 5 day auctions......7 days feeling like forever. I slowly experimented with 3 days, and low and behold, they did every bit as good as my 5 days! So, nowadays, I don about 75% 3 day and the other in 5 days.

I agree and if you have great visibility(every account seems to be throttled) one day auctions. Anything more than three wastes time. I only use five day listing when I am listing on Tuesday and want the item to end Sunday night.

The last 3 days I can tell they have been letting more traffic my way and tonight they really opened things up, where my Bin listings have been selling every 10 minutes all day long and I been running 1 day Auctions and getting ending price of when Id run a 5 Or 7 day with even more than normal

the idea of ebay or any other form of trying to sell is to sell. a 30 day listing is the same as a 3 day listing if no sale.
what items are you selling that you cant move i might be able to give you help.

I think 3 days listing is better for me. It sells for about same price as 7 days auctions. I deal with VERO.

This is what I do. I do this to space my listings out so they show on various different pages, thus yielding more visibility.

I would do 1 day but I don't have that option. Need to research when I should expect this to start.
