Planning to sell over 50k per year with Stealth account

My previous eBay account has been suspended because of users didn't read whole description and bought wrong items from me.
I had around 1300 feedbacks:(

I have read the Stealth book and I'm planning to open eBay stealth account.
I'm planning to sell 150 items and its around 50k-100k per year. (Electronics)

Is it even possible? I know there is this EU 2500EUR limit, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ proof pictures for that?
But are there any more limits? At some point are they sending my information to tax accountant, like the US regulation?

Do you prefer one eBay account or many to split the sales?

Lots of questions, sorry.

Trying to sell $50K-$100k is feasible but not for 1 account. Your going to need to spread your sales across a lot of accounts. Also, starting out with strictly with electronics will be a massive issue. Your gonna want to start out with something less risky and build your accounts up.

Many accounts to spread sales - set them up via stealth method - electronics is quite a big risk for new accounts...

You may need to buy some accounts with high limits from members on here if your timing to move that much product. New accounts usually have 10/1000 limit.

Very doable but dont expect to do that with one account, should have multiple

Noone is protected against weird buyers, especially, when selling expensive items. Use several accounts, spread your risks...

I have roughly same selling plans/expectations based on my last years taking, with one account.
I'm planning to have at least 10-20 stealth accounts to keep the risk spread and have them selling slowly for a long periods of time, rather then get busted quickly because of raised flags etc.

Read the book, practice, read the book few more times and do couple of trial runs. Make few mistakes, learn from them and improve the operation.
PLENTY of helpful people and information in this forum.

Is the anti money laundering amount(whatever it is called) get increased now?

That would be your biggest hiccup.

My first red flag is you expect buyers to read descriptions

Hi. I am not sure you realise that when buyer gives you bad review or even defect when you have provided accurate details (mentioning the situation in your description). You can have that defect removed by ebay.

It worked for me once, ebay came back to me that, it shouldn't result in a defect on my account since I'd provided adequate information to support the condition of the item. The defect was removed.

I was doing $2MM/year with a stealth account so yes, but this was Amazon.

eBay a few hundred grand.

Blocking buyers is an effective tool that needs to be used more often

Blocking is SO therapeutic, regardless of the platform.

If you sell $10k across 5 accounts, you have made your 50k goal. I probably wouldnt want to do 50k all on one account personally.

I closed my retail stores and do exclusively online. Retail has far and away more risk and hassle than any internet platform.

what is the risk you are referring to?

Re: Planning to sell over 50k per year with Stealth account

exorbitant overhead, tiny local market compared to worldwide, permits/licenses/taxes/insurance, lower wage employee and of course that you have to go there sometimes if not all the time.

I would personally NEVER have another retail store if the only purpose was to make money. Internet is so much faster and nearly no overhead.

I have NETed more in a week at times that my retail stores could sell with 10 employees in a year.

Retail can be fun but it is not all about the money at that point.

I know I am responding to a five month old post. But honestly I have a master block list that I use. I also am friends with a few other sellers with similar items. We share names, etc. It has been very beneficial in weeding out fraud and problematic buyers.

I don't know about most of you but I would rather miss out on 4 or 5 sales than have to deal with one highly problematic buyer.

Update: it is doable. But you should have lots of nice documents. And a lot of luck, as not only EB and PP, but retarded buyers can be a huge risk as well, when you sell a lot. Almost half of my defects come from retards, who don't bother sending in a PM, but opening a case instantly.
