Limit for listing on NEW eBay Stealth account
 

Hi all!
Want to ask :

What is the limit for listing on NEW eBay Stealth account?

I listed 1 item for 0.99 for 3 days as auction, then i listed 1 item for 0.99 for 3 days as buy it now.
After that i listed 1 item (not high risk )for $140 and got limitation...
What the hell???!!!
could you advice please HOW MUCH weekly/monthly i could list from new ebay account?

I'm selling not high risk items : new car parts

Start slow and grow , imagine if you were first time seller would you be listing 0.33 cent then jump to $ 140 ?, make sure you look like somebody who has never listed on ebay before then grow your account

2nd that. Gotta start off looking like a Noob. As soon as they saw the jump from $1 -100 + they are on you. I'd be super cautious on that acct cuz they are probably watching. :spy:

It's been said on the forums a few times, and I agree, that starting off listing items at $150 or whatever is less risky than listing items at .99 then jumping to $150 a week later

Thats a rather big jump, don't you think? You go from 0.99 cent items to $140 items... On a brand nw account.

I tend to multiply my price every month:
1st month I sell items worth £10-20 each.
2nd month I sell items for around £30-50 each.
3rd month I sell items for around £20-60 each.

After 3rd month I slowly start adding more expensive ites to my listings just to make sure that I build the account up to these sales, so that nothing looks "off"

One of the things that I tend to do is list items with low starting price, knowing that they will still sell for much higher price. When I know that something sells for around £80, then I'm more than happy to start the listing with £9.99 or £19.99 and it ends around £70-75.
I just think that by doing so, you are giving the buyer the power over your listing and it might look more "normal" in eBay system.
I just don't feel that new accounts should jump from 0.99 items to even £50 items with BIT option.
Thats my personal method and "way" of listing tho, so might not work for everybody.

Just feels like a slow build is safer way of handling accounts, that's all.

Also, the difference between £1 and £10 doesn't feel a lot, but if you break it down to percentages then its quite a bit. Now try to imagine the difference between £1 and £150. Might not be a lot of money in your eyes, but in the system the difference in % terms is huge, massive spike on the imaginary "graph"

More than focusing on just what number of things you can list each week, or how fast you can get away with listing something that isn't taken down or limits your account, the real payoff will come from something started that will run the course of the listing, complete, tracking to show fast shipping and feedback soon after, and then focus on the next batch of listings. Rather than how much you can list, or how fast you can list, focus on letting the whole process complete- selling and shipping and feedback. That will make your next set of listings much less likely to run into problems.
