| Demetriusl22 | 01-01-2016 02:21 PM | Good idea to sell 0.99 Items to start. Anyone know or have a good idea if it's a good move to sell 0.99 and up legit items. All are in stock and ready to ship. It's my way of starting low and building up, not trying sell PS3 and Bentleys on the first weeks run. |

If you ever want to start selling more expensive things you will have to transition into it. It would not be a good idea to go from selling $1 stuff to $100 stuff in one day. |

Demetriusl22 | 01-01-2016 02:39 PM | Re: Good idea to sell 0.99 Items to start. That's what I was considering, since I know from a old post the shipping if your going to offer it for free you have to consider item + shipping = profit?? There was a legal legitimate store in NYC but I don't know if it's still open. |
brandnewboss | 01-01-2016 02:42 PM | Re: Good idea to sell 0.99 Items to start. Just use a eBay/PayPal fee calculator, you can still make a profit off cheap items if you do it right. |
jrandleww | 01-01-2016 02:45 PM | Re: Good idea to sell 0.99 Items to start. Shipping with a tracking number will cost you at least 2$ right? Plus EB and PP fees plus the cost of the envelope/package. I think $3 is the bare minimum to not lose money. |
Re: Good idea to sell 0.99 Items to start. Take a look at Chinese Sellers, they sell stuff so low they lose money....they don't look at it like losing money but gaining feedback, building the account up to sell higher priced items. |

| Let me tell you how. If you sell items as an auction and starting price of each is 0.99 and the ending price is 200, you can actually surpass the 500 limit. 5 x 200 is 1k. This is the power of Auction listing. |

They dont. They expect serious sellers to call in, verify ID, supply source of goods and grow by a measurable rate that makes both paypal and ebay comfortable with service and goods.
Everyone else will grow naturally and slowly. |

bluegrass1 | 01-12-2016 04:50 AM | Re: Good idea to sell 0.99 Items to start. I have noticed that limits raise slower when selling cheap items . i sold some 1.99 buy it now items and limits went 5/500 to 10/1000 other accounts i sold 5 items at 25.oo ea and limits go from 5/500 to 20/3000 . also even got bad feedback on one of the 1.99 items . so from now on i just sell higher items get the first limit riased then following month you can list as buy it now one listing 100.oo ea 20 items . then you will get a BIG limit increase . then i simply cancel the listing unless its something i am really stocking .. |
