trying to push auction at a volume

im trying to scale the amount of volume i do with the same item though i dont want to get into issue with similar posts and things that will raise red flags to ebay and there tracking system. i wanna know if just changing the layout of the picture and the discription shoulf be enough tro create multiple auctions of the same item with out getting into to much trouble.

It's simple, different pictures, different layouts, different descriptions, everything different!

There are no shortcuts to success. EVERYTHING must be different, or you are running the risk of the accounts being linked. I know it seems like a pain to write multiple descriptions and take multiple pictures, but eBay is looking for similarities there, and you only have to do it once per account. We know for a fact that they have software trying to find duplicate pictures. Reps have told me that more than once and other members of the forum have experienced the same thing.

It isn't easy, but the end result can be a very profitable business. I probably work more than most, definitely more than 40 hours a week and close to 60. But what is better - doing this where you can rely on your own talent and grow your business if you need more money OR working 40 hours a week with no chance at extra money and hoping that when it comes time for a promotion that your boss's kid doesn't need a job?

If you really want to start moving large volume's of inventory, ditch the auctions and start BIN listings. Or since you are selling from multiple accounts, maybe do auctions on some accounts and BIN's on others. I have a few GTC BIN listings which I get 40+ sales per day from because the listings each have 30000+ views and 650-700 watchers. While I've never got more than 1 sale in 7 days with auctions.

Just throwing in my $.02 for you to consider. I hate auctions. I rarely even do auctions when I'm starting an account. BIN's work just as well.

I usually have BINs set up for long term selling. As phaz0rz has stated, having a listening with thousands of views and hundreds of watchers truly helps with sales. I would suggest doing BINs, and switching EVERYTHING on each listing so you can't be connected. Prices as well.

Goodluck
