Can Ebay Link Your Account Under Same ISP PRovider
 

Hi everyone,

I just comes up with this question after I go through all the "IP Address and Mac Address things"..

Is it safe when I keep log in in ebay account and Paypal account, with diff ip, for every account, keep delete cookies + flash, but somehow all the ip are under 1 ISP provider.

Can Ebay really detect that all of the diff ip are the same one people?

It's because I had 1 account suspended due to relation to my flatmate's suspended acc, we never log in from diff computer and we have diff computer, diff ip, diff cookies, but how ebay can link us?

Is that because we are under the same ISP which gave us the ip?

no, if that was the case, everyone who had the same isp in your area would have gotten suspended

are you sure that any of you never logged into your account on the other computer?? or it could be the same address that linked you

Me too I tried to go to other ISP's recommended in the book,but since I have Magic Jack Phone Service these ISP's Will not accept Magic Jack Phone Service even if its their broadban services.:rant:

i don't think they can. ISP's have a block of addresses that you get dynamically when your ADSL modem connects - they are always in that block. You will find you have inadverently opened a link or email from ebay on the wrong account or something similiar. It is all it takes, just the once.
