WHat should I sell on ebay in Australia?

Hi guys!
I'm new to this forum and I read the book 'ebay stealth'

It says that I should start from selling pre-owned product like used clothes and other stuff.
I listed no more than 10 things now and they are all pre-owned clothes. What product should I list next? How can I found the profiting stuff and start to sell them?(by mixed with pre-owned clothes)

Also I'm a bit worried because of the corona virus, it will affect the shipment.

For now, there's not really much of you can sell.
Have you think of doing drop shipping or retail arbitrage?

used electronics-PC,laptop,camera,printers.
More people now work from home, they need those items.
computer paper,ink cartridge,memory cards.routers,
even books, dvds, small appliances, look around your house.
as long as you are not engaging in retail arbitrage, list xxxx items by right clicking some stock photos.

For a new account, his feedback will take a massive hit selling most of the items you listed.

OP can use Terapeak to find profitable items that aren't 'hot' for a new account.

why should his feedback takes a massive hit?
if his items are as described and shipped promptly and he is not engaging in retail arbitrage,he is selling what he has .
One problem with used electronic is amateur testing, you flip switch, you tap a few words on keyboard, print a page and you think it is fine.
Your packing is not in original carton with proper insulation.
with INAD,return shipping is paid for by the seller and you end up losing money paying shipping both ways.
Once I bought a used printer identical to mine as a backup, the printer even with the ink cartridge removed, still have plenty of ink,it stained my floor, clothes, hands, desks.
Seller ended up paying $25x2 to have the item back.
Then she relisted the item and the new buyer returned the item, another hit on shipping,2 x$25. ,

Lol at the printer bit. :bounce:

This is sort of why I think OP should not touch these sort of items even if he got them for free. It is always troubling down the road.

seasoned sellers have this problem too, just because they are seasoned sellers does not mean they are experts in selling used electronics/

You're missing the point. Big sellers including those with business accounts are protected and have a lot of feedback to mitigate any damage that may arise from selling some of the items you've prescribed. New sellers DO NOT.

Advising someone starting out to sell these sort of items that attract a lot of fraud, trouble and poor feedback a is quite silly on your part don't you think?

OP can brand select stationeries and walk away with ~ $3000 clear profit pm before tax and not get one negative in a year.

Much better than a list of junk that'll land him the dreaded MC011

But these are mine and I know they work, which means nothing if it arrived damaged.
It is up to the seller, plenty of small/medium sellers sell them ,not just big sellers who can mitigate bad orders.
Pawn shops, repair shops with merchandise repaired but never pickup by owner, you can sell brand new items and they could be defective like the SONY BOOMBOX I bought on Ebay from Radio Shack which sells for Sony, made in Thailand, brand new older models.
They sent me a replacement, and it still does not work.
BTW,Ebay has a special category for selling such under scrap and parts/salvage,where the buyer cannot file INAD under Ebay 30 days Money back Gurantee program.
But it does not mean they cannot file with Paypal or CC issuer

what is retail arbitrage?
