Do i need ID to get paypal verified?
 

hi guys, hope you are all selling well!
I slowly starts to sell on ebay but now paypal wants my bankstatement and ID check to verify my ID, otherwise i couldn't transfer the money:(

Bank statement is easy for me, no pictures just change numbers and characters.

ID verification is a bit rough for me because I came from China and don't have any Australian ID. How do you guys solve the ID issue?

Mate be careful with that cos I've done the same and it didn't go well for me haha. If they do a manual check you might get around it, but if they use the DVS ( https://beta.idmatch.gov.au/ ) it might be tougher to solve your issue as in a lot of nagging to PP constantly to fix it

Unfortunately you'll have to get an ID of some sort. Not the answer you're looking for, but if it's a worthy account there's gotta be people that can get it done in some way or manner.

Should still try the photo shop trick though, cos I didn't get a document upload block until my 5th attempt and that's when I had to keep nagging them haha

I don't see that service offered in the marketplace - if you find anything outside the forum and/or get pms from ppl selling these accounts, just beware...

You can use a PayPal account without verifying it to receive payments. Without verification though, you'll be limited in how much money you can withdraw from the account to your bank account (how much this limit is depends on the policy applicable to your country).

PayPal has started asking for ID verification even on older accounts. This is a requirement from the Australian government.

As most people say, you'll have to be creative but extremely careful. I have been in your situation and that has worked for me.
