Got the dreaded invite on my stealth accounts this afternoon

Need password ID or drivers licence number


Now, these can be easily photoshopped

BUT

If they are checking against a database then we are in a world of trouble


Anyone had any experience with Australia managed payments accounts

Following this thread eagerly. I have 3 stealth's 11 years old generating over 600K in revenue with over 50,000 feedback at 99.8% rating. It's my full time job and I employ others as well. Licenses ect have all been photoshopped. I've worked every angle I know and can't find a solution to this. Got the email today,

"If your business is not a trust, cooperative or association, you are required to register by 1st March."

From what i have seen on here our real info is the only way to go?
I just keep getting the reminders, dont have a final date yet but im sure i will soon...

I am going to wait until they start stopping me creating new listings

Then take the risk

Change to my real details (name, dob) but different address that was on banned account.

Really don't want to lose my accounts

If your turn over is 600k (nice job btw), can you ask a friend or family member who has never used eBay in any way shape or form to use their ID to change your eBay account registration details to?

Would hate to see such high turn over accounts be burnt! :tears:

I have read that on US/UK accounts shopped docs have worked fine... it comes down to if they verify it.

Surely there are some examples of what works and what doesnt by now?

Managed payments have been rolling out for quite some time.

So what is everyone using to get past?

Got my date today. They've said by the end of Feb I won't be able to list new items. 5000 feedback account might be toast ffs.

My stealth account does have two of the same names in it. For example, real name Wayne John Smith. Stealth account is John Wayne. Might work but not confident

Can someone please update us on stealth accounts and if they work with MP using caked docs?
