Tax Laws in Australia and eBay??
 

Hi,
At the moment im selling about $10k a week and was wondering will i get in trouble with the tax office or someone for doing something wrong? BTW its a bogus account.

ebay australia passes on information to the tax office if your sales are over 50000, (that was a couple of years ago) i think it might even be 30k now. Last time it happened to me ebay sent me an email telling me they had done so with a brief month by month sales report which they said was the same thing they sent to the tax office. Nothing ever came from it.
If your details are all bogus you should be ok, however if the tax office singles you out they may find you by your bank account

I think the current limit is anything $75,000 and over will be reported to the ATO.
