Phone verification for Gumtree.

I went to open another Gumtree account and they have asked for phone verification, and as they are owner by ebay, I don't have a spare phone number that isn't linked to ebay.

Anyone else had this happen. This must be a fairly new requirement.

I just registered with gumtree and they didnt ask for verification :0
