give me some advises,pls

plan to apply for a new internet provider in Australia.
have following questions:
which company is the best for ebay seller?
which type of internet is the best for ebay seller, cable or adsl,or wirless
is 5g usage per month enough?

thanks everyone who give me advise.

Just make sure that the IP is dynamic, 5gb is alright if just for ebay, if you surf other stuff and watch youtube and adult entertainment videos etc would get more...

wel, it really vary. I suggest that you should apply for a home plan internet, which is ADSL. Then you can be able to change your ip everytime. Adam is a good option.

yeah. make sure that you can change your ip address..itll be simpler for you..

realka 06-30-2010 02:33 AM

what i really concern is about the stability since my current internet provider TPG is really lousy ,the line constantly drop-out .freak me out.

SelfMade17 06-30-2010 02:47 AM

i think you should do some research on the providers..to see who gets the best reviews..specially for your area/surrounding area..also make sure that they are easy to change the ip..because that is KEY!

tenggo 06-30-2010 03:19 AM

Depends... the quickest and easiest way is with a mobile internet dongle... unplug it, plug it in again, 10 seconds later new IP... a bit more expensive, but if you have a laptop, its the only way to go... (you dont need to pay for home phone line rental)

SelfMade17 06-30-2010 04:42 AM

that is true..but if you get a dynamic one..and go wireless itll be cheaper...but ask the company how easy it is to change your ip address..cause im not so sure about in OZ..but in usa its pretty easy..lol with dsl..all you have to do is unplug and plug it back into the modem..

thanks
but actually i am using a desktop, so can i still use mobile broadband?
and which plan do you guys recommend?

tenggo 06-30-2010 07:26 AM

yeah, still works on a desktop... most of them have a self install program for user interface... disconnect, reconnect new IP...... the money you save on the home phone line makes up for the extra cost... They are mostly prepaid, same deal as your mobile, eg go to a supermarket, get the recharge voucher... thats it

realka 06-30-2010 07:31 AM
