Reloadable prepaid gift card with BPay acceptance

Hi all, has anyone else tried the only1visa reloadable gift cards that you buy from the post office. I used this on my old amatuer stealth account before I got excommunicated by eb and pp but it worked like a charm. I was able to have up to $1000 at any time, accept Bpay payments from customers with it and use the card to withdraw cash at the ATM's. I used it to verify my pp account also.

You can purchase as many as you like from Australia Post, they cost $7.95 each and you do have to send them ID but they allow you to purchase cards for anyone of any age that has a passport or DL.

you can also use the Canvas Reloadable visa cards,
(use this code online to get the card for free "loadcashplay")

These sound good, can you withdrawn from PP on to them?

And what if you don't have a DL or Passport?

can you receive payment to ur credit card via bpay?

How u do that? I thought Bpay is only payment processor for big company

Thx

Atlantica22z 08-08-2010 10:41 PM

you can not withdraw money from your pp account to the card
but you can reload it with bpay by getting the Bpay code for your card and then sending payment through your bank account\internet banking

Atlantica22z 08-08-2010 10:45 PM

these are the documents you can provide for verification
you need to provide 2(1 containing a photo)

Valid passport or international travel document (issued by a government)
Valid driver’s licence
Valid State or national ID card
Birth Certificate
Utility Bill/Statement containing your name and address (no more than six months old)
A statement or letter from a financial institution containing your name and address (no more than six months old)
A valid school or university identification card
A letter from a school, university or reputable education provider containing your name and address (no more than six months old)

"accept Bpay payment from customer to it"

i am just wondering bout this part...

Please let me know how to get bpay code for the credit card?

Thanks

Atlantica22z 08-09-2010 08:34 PM

you have to first sign up for a reloadable visa card..
then you get the bpay code..

you can only use bpay for reloadable cards..(such as Canvas\Only1visa)
NOT credit cards\debit cards etc.

Excellent, that is well worth doing, thanks. :thumb:

Definitely a great way to accept money, I give my customers the Bpay details when they ask for my bank account details. The Biller code is on the back of your card and the reference number is your card number. Any money that gets paid to that reference numbers goes straight to that card for you to go to the atm and withdraw the next business day.

hi, sorry i am pretty new to this and this may sound silly. but may i ask if this card can be used to verify a paypal account in australia?

also, will there be a problem with using your real personal details on the reloadable visa card? can ebay track these information?
