Hello Everyone.

A customer wants to pay direct into my bank account. I gave the bsb and acc number. He said that he will do transfer. Now, he wants name of account. Its a Suncorp acc.

Can I give him my name? I thought number and bsb was good enough?
If I give my name will Ebay see it? I was suspended before.

I hope I have explained it clearly.

Hi Mate, you will be OK giving the name on your eBay account, as stated in the book and in numerous threads on this site.

So just use your stealth name, the money will still transfer OK. On a side note eBay do not only go by your name alone to link your accounts they use, flash cookies, address, IP address, phone numbers, account numbers etc etc, who's to say that there aren't more than one John Smith in the world, right?

If he goes to deposit over the counter at a Suncorp branch he may have a problem, I have had this problem before when buyer goes in to make deposit and teller tells them the name of the account is different to the one they put on the deposit slip. I just ask them to make payment to the girl frirnds account and then give my initial and surname..
