| missmel | 02-16-2011 08:57 AM | How to pay ebay fees Hi guys, my paypal account has been suspended. Ebay is still fine and im still selling. I live in australia How do i pay my ebay fees now? Is there any other gift card other than entro pay? Please let me know. Thanks |
I am sure that your banks in Australia issue bank-backed gift credit cards, right? Buy those or prepaid gift credit cards and pay off the fees.
Other folx will correct me if I am wrong no doubt. |
| stillconfused | 02-18-2011 07:38 AM | You can buy virtual Visa cards to use, virtual v card.com.au
They work well for any type of online use. |
You order that then they deliver a physical card? Or just e-mail. |
| stillconfused | 02-19-2011 01:44 AM | They email you the some of the details, the rest are available in your account on their website.
It takes a few days so you need to order ahead.
I think they charge about $5.50 for the card and you can order them for various amounts $50 to $1000.
And they are valid for 9 months. |
| Heavy_T | 03-13-2011 11:32 AM | the cool feature of v-vcard is you can sign up with your details, then gift them to anybody with any address  Quote:

Do you have to give a name/ID when you buy prepaid visa cards? Because if you pay with a name thats been suspended on an ebay account (eg; your real name) won't they match them up? Just checking for the best option as I need a way to pay my ebay fees too :D |
| stillconfused | 05-20-2011 12:30 AM | I use a virtual card for paying my fees on accounts that don't have PP.
Just sign up to virtual and buy a card for what ever amount you need.
As they there use by is 9 months, just calculate how much your fees might be for however long in advance, and get that amount.
It doesn't matter about the name, when it comes to paying your fees they only what the numbers.
You have to use your real ID for signing up, but I buy several cards for different accounts.
As long as they are paid their fees, they don't really care. |
| rebel | 05-22-2011 10:23 PM | sign up with entropay - i found them to be the best entropay.com |

What has been your success with entropay? or do u work for them? |
| rebel | 05-23-2011 09:24 PM | no, I don't work for them ! I have had my account canned overnight using their VCC to pay my seller fees, but using it and then verifying it in Paypal has worked on nine account so far - so good. |
So what ends up being the better option for us Aussies? :P Using any card under my name whether it be prepaid or not I'll always be worried it'll be traced back to a suspended account paying fees for a non suspended account. |
You won't be tracked via your card ALONE - provide all details in your stealth info. |
| moustafa | 05-24-2011 02:26 PM | why not to pay directly through your real cc? |
Well we are reminded over and over and over to make sure nothing on our stealth accounts are related to our suspended accounts. By doing the above I'd be using my name and CC that were previously used on suspended accounts. |
What about transferring funds from your real a/c into the bank a/c your stealth ebay is linked to and make a one off payment? Just a suggestion, I've done that in the past and it worked for me. Good luck:) |

Good luck:) | I'm not 100% on this but doesn't it mention somewhere on here or the Stealth guide that by transferring funds from your stealth bank account to your Paypal it enables PP access to the real name on the account? (IF they ever were to investigate that particular account) |
| Cinario | 05-25-2011 02:54 AM | I read the same, although I wonder whether that is really the case or not. Maybe there's only 1 way to find out |
| unkown5454 | 05-25-2011 10:13 PM | It is true. |

| craigoaus | 05-26-2011 04:25 PM | Just go to Woolies and buy one of the pre-paid master cards, $3 for the card minimum load $20 instant activation no ID required and online balance checking. You also get a physical Mastercard which you can use in shops as well as eBay and Paypal. Note they also sell a re-loadable one which requires ID. Very simple easy to use. |

| craigoaus | 05-28-2011 01:55 PM | Yep I use them exactly the same as a debit card |

anyone have luck with this? |
| craigoaus | 06-14-2011 03:27 AM | it takes 3 or 4 days to show ... like on a real credit card :-) |
| stillconfused | 06-15-2011 04:56 AM | Okay, good to know. Let us know how you get on with it. |
So which ones don't ask for ID? I'd rather be specific than ask for "The one that won't require ID please" lol ;) |
Woolworth everyday card. $2.95 for card and $20 mininal deposit.
I think this one is much better than another Auspost one, that one is reloadble, but everytime you reload, you pay $3.95. |
The main question is though do all these prepaid credit card providers take your real name and ID? I'm thinking of preloading like.. $200 and paying off ALL my eBay account fees using the same card or continue to do what I'm doing and thats leaving $100-$150 in each PP account for eBay fees. That being said if I only use one account once that month then I would rather have the $$ than have it sitting there.
Do they care if its linked to your name you think? (And you've been banned?)
Or could you have the card under say B Waters instead of Brad Waters (Banned) |
| NotAHappyBunny | 06-20-2011 09:36 AM | hi
i dont think the name matters on a pre-paid, the whole point of them is to be safe online. |
Name makes no difference - the card should be registered with your stealth address. |
But if they ask to see your drivers license for ID wht then :P |
| craigoaus | 06-20-2011 03:21 PM | There is no registration or ID requirement when buying the Woolies card, it is ideal for a one off ebay fee payment it is also ideal for verifying a Paypal account although it takes a few days for the Paypal code to show on the statement which is the same with my 'proper' CC's when I have used them to verify an account. The only possible drawback is that you must load it with a minimum of $20 but as you have a physical card you can spend this in a store or use the money to build up an other Paypal account.. my two bobs worth :-) |
| jjjia | 06-23-2011 11:22 PM | but woolies ones are not reloadable:( |
| craigoaus | 06-24-2011 02:10 AM | they do have a reloadable one available from them, its mentioned on the web site |

I know it's a pain, but different cards for different accounts. No linking! |
Do NOT use the same card across accounts. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:06 AM. | |
