Does Paypal AUS always need proof of ID's?
 

I'm in the middle of creating a stealth account and wonder how soon I am going to need to 'modify' my IDs.

So for those out there that use Paypal in Australia, how soon after you create an account does paypal request ID's? When it goes to $1000? I know it depends on what you are doing...

Just want to know what various people think, so thanks in advance.

I just move on to another account when Paypal asks for ID, to me its a little 'too naughty' and not necessary when it is easy enough to move on to a new account.

Well I could do that but at the moment they ask for ID almost straight away. And what if you have money in your account? Do you just leave it there?

They generally give you 45 days to supply the required documentation.
Either supply them with what they want, or sell like crazy for 45 days and carefully withdraw the money to your bank account, and move on.

Hi, i know of two people who have a stealth account and have gone over the $1000 limit and palpay is yet to ask for id. And by going over i'm talking over $3000 of sales.

When i opened up my account i stopped selling for a bit and have yet to reach the $1000 mark and i got asked for id.

i'm tempted to do as craigaus suggested and open a new account. what to do, what to do????

oh and i have had my stealth account since october last year (wow, it's already been that long) and they are asking for id just now.

My friends also opened up account at same time and still no contact from paypal.
It's all about staying under the radar.

All of this friends stuff eh

hehehe, it just so happened that there was three of us selling things we shouldn't have and within hours we all had our accounts suspended....

and because we do everything together, we also opened up stealth accounts at the same time...females...we like to stick together
