Very confused beginner - Help me choose what to do
 

Hi, this is my first thread and I have recently got my ebay account suspended for 7 days and my Paypal account limited. Now Paypal is asking for a large amount of information for the limitation review including:
Confirming credit card (something I do not have)
Photo ID
Bank Account Statement
Proof of Address
Provide Invoices
Supplier Contact Info
Provide more information about payments

Now that is a lot of information. Now I am unsure whether I should try and solve this problem or go stealth. Please I need an answer.

Welcome to the forums. Your decision should be based on amount in holding and period of activity i.e. is the account new or well-established.

If it's new and not too much money in it, forget it and go stealth.

Clearly if you dont have any of the information they need your only option is to go stealth, but you may run into many issues in the future, since you dont really know what your doing, so you may want to search the forums, and read the book to avoid major hassle in the future.

Also what would be good to know is if the account is a stealth account or not?

If it's a good standing account with feedback and in your real details then why would you not want to try and save it?.. The credit card problem you have is just an obstacle which is easily overcome with a virtual credit card..

Thanks for the advice it is only a new account (about 2 months) with not much money in it but has all my real details. Now i can't close my account as it is limited and am just worried Paypal will take money out of my bank account. I am still unsure hope experienced members can give me a hand. Thank You (:

As you've stated this account is in your real information, you have a head start compared to most of the users on here already.. You clearly don't want to loose that account so I would personally advise you to gather all the requested documents and ID and forward them to PP.. What have you got to loose? Why are you worried that they will take money from your bank account? They only do this if you owe money, ie fees, disputes, refunds, however they debit your PP balance first.

Even if PPs decision is to close your account, if there are funds in there they will be released after 180 days anyway.

Just wondering if I do go stealth what will happen to my old limited account with no money ??

Nothing.. It will stay limited and you may as well forget about it..
