on ebay australia do you need to verify your paypal account to sell on there ? There is not much talk about bank accounts for ebay australia.

Depends on how your going to pay your seller fees on eBay. If you choose credit card you won't need a verified paypal.
But you could verify your paypal with the credit card and use it on eBay.

The bank account isn't needed unless you want to withdraw or they ask for it
