How do I do a phone verification?
 

Can't use my home phone number obviously, mobile number doesn't work. What other options do we have to use in Australia? I can't sell until I verify myself even though I've verified through Paypal and linking a bank account. Thanks!

Scrap that, answered my own question. Heres what we can do:

1. Buy a prepaid sim card ($1)
2. It asks if you'd like to receive the call on X number
3. Click to type in a new number and type it as "0433" then "333333"
4. Works like a charm!

does this still work? and also
where the hell do you buy $1 sim?? :O mine costs $20 from Vodafail :(

They sell Voda sim starter kits for $1, since my phone is Voda I don't bother checking other sims. I just did it now, worked a charm but I think I tried it a week ago and it didn't so if worst comes to worst try it, if it doesn't work try a day and try again.

im not sure I understand, r u saying where there is the option of changing number on the verification page, u click that and then change that number to a mobile?

Well I did it tonight and it worked, why wouldn't it work for you? Can be any mobile number. And to those who are PM'ing me for help I won't reply because the answer is in this thread ... :confused:

have you tried on weekends?

just buy a $2 sim and activate it with BS info

do you reckon i can the same mobile number over again in one week time because you need credit to get the message/call
